Gorgeous weather abounds! It's been lovely since Saturday. What a pleasure to be able to use the clothesline again.Because Huxley certain shows no signs of slowing down his, ahem, "production"!
This is probably a silly city-girl question... but do you ever worry about bird poo on your clean laundry? I really want to set up a line in our backyard with some p-cord, but we have a lot of trees...
Cat-That has actually never happened to me. Ever. Perhaps part of our success lies in the fact that our clothesline is completely in the open, i.e. it's not situated under any trees, where birds tend to both congregate and reside. So, I'd say to site your line somewhere totally exposed. You'll be much less likely to be a "target" then. Hope this helps!
No way I am going to be able to hang laundry for at least a few more months...but I do believe I am going to put on some Bob Dylan anyway...
ReplyDeleteWe can't WAIT to string up our clothes line again...too bad the freezing rain is here to stay; at least for awhile. :)
