ReplyDelete(just finished 'Home Dairy' and I can't wait to try my hand at butter making!)
oh, i'll check out the trial! sounds really fun.
ReplyDeletei have a question for you. i was thinking today about the price of probiotics, and wondering if i were to add probiotics to my yogurt, if it would mean that i could begin to culture several healthy strains and stop spending a mint on the powders?
any thoughts?
xx
elisa-i used to spend loads of money on fancy probiotics. now, i just eat plain yogurt every morning, first thing, on an empty stomach. i'm using live, active cultures as the base, so there's lots of probiotic activity naturally occurring, making pricey supplementation unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteSo proud of you! I got your dairy book for my birthday this year...I'll have to try and tune in. :)
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to have to sign up for the trial subscription...so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Good luck and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
This Good Life
That will be a great opportunity to share your knowledge. I recall that Sandy did an in studio yogurt taste test in early April, but it was all store bought. Once everyone hears your homemade dairy ideas I'm sure they are going to love it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Ashley! That sounds like a great opportunity! <3
